THESE ARE THE WINNERS OF THE 1ST QUARTER OF 2022
Wow! In the last few weeks we have received many exciting logic groups. We would like to thank you very much for each submission, because they all inspired us. Since it was not easy to choose a single winner, we would like to award 3 logic groups at once. These 3 candidates excelled in terms of user-friendliness, cleverness and sustainability. We will therefore award the 2nd and 3rd place with a BAB Leatherman Style PS each. In addition, we will gradually present more submitted logic groups in our LOGIKEDITOR Network over the next few weeks! For this purpose, we will contact the authors by e-mail before publication. Due to the positive response, we would definitely like to repeat the competition in the near future and therefore encourage you already now to tinker with new, interesting logic groups.
THE 3 WINNING LOGICS AT A GLANCE
1st place: Solar surplus for hot water boiler

With this logic group, the solar surplus of a PV system can be used with the help of a heating cartridge in the hot water boiler (built-in heating cartridge with 3 identical heating rods) to save gas or oil, for example. The existing surplus electricity is read out via the Smart Meter, for example. There are two usage variants within the logic group. The first variant works with a dimmer (“switching” & “absolute dimming”) and two further switching outputs to control the power continuously. In the second variant, the two-step switching is used if there is no dimmer and only the 2 switching outputs are used.
